Black and white. The colour range is deliberately narrower than the pillowcases because sheets are bought to sit under everything else rather than to be the feature.

Yes, cold and on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent, no bleach. Line dry or tumble on low. A silk sheet is a large item, so make sure it has room to move in the drum.

Rarely. Silk drops most of its creases as it hangs on the bed. If you want it flat, iron on the reverse at a cool setting.

We make no temperature claim for this sheet. It is 100% mulberry silk, and how warm a bed feels is down to the whole bed, not one sheet.

It is smooth, and some people take a night or two to get used to it. It does not slide off the bed if it is tucked properly, but a silk sheet under a silk duvet cover can be more movement than you want.

We do not promise a lifespan. What damages silk sheeting is hot water, bleach and a hot dryer, so wash it cold and gently.

Silk is smoother than cotton but it is a natural fibre, so a rough toenail or a ring can pull a thread. It is worth knowing rather than a reason not to buy one.
